The short answer is NO. You don’t need to bring portrait photos or cash when you enter Vietnam with E-visa. When you applied for E-visa online, you have already uploaded the portrait photo and paid the stamping fee so bringing printed photos or cash won’t be necessary.

What are the requirements of portrait photo to apply for E-visa?

Portrait photos used for applying for Vietnam Visa should meet the following requirements:

  • Newly taken 
  • Photo size 4x6 cm
  • File type: jpg, jpeg format
  • Size <2MB
  • Straight face, no hat, no glasses, formal clothes, white background
     

What are the requirements of passport photo to apply for E-visa?

Passport data page image used for applying for Vietnam E-Visa should meet the following requirements:

  • In high quality
  • Show the full page with the ICAO line and no lost corners (ICAO line is the line with <<<< at the bottom of the passport data page)
